What a search for local bakeries is asking for
The person searching is looking for a bakery they can order from, often one close enough to collect the cake or deliver it. They need the bakery’s name, what it can make, and how to place the order. A software homepage cannot stand in for that bakery. The useful result is the bakery’s own storefront.
Keep the order on the bakery’s site
Bakery Search DC links directly to DC metro bakery websites. Frostly does not place a bakery in map results. The bakery is found through its own name, location, and website. Once someone is there, the hosted cake visualizer can show icing, piping, colors, and lettering inside that storefront. The bakery keeps the products, prices, cart, and checkout.
Match the preview to what the bakery can make
A local bakery decides which sizes, flavors, and decorations it can prepare. Connect those choices to the preview so the searcher sees a cake the bakery can actually produce. The preview does not replace ingredient information, allergen guidance, or the bakery’s production instructions.
What is available for a local bakery today
The hosted cake visualizer is available now, including a free plan with the Frostly watermark and 1,000 embed requests per month for one store location. Storefront, back office, order management, and delivery windows are in development. They are not included in the visualizer subscription.
