Start with cake previews. Grow by bakery location.

These plans cover the hosted cake visualizer only. The complete bakery ecommerce platform is in development; platform pricing and availability will be announced separately.

Every new account is free: the Frostly wordmark stays on the cake, and each store location gets 1,000 embed requests per month. Pay $100 per store location per month to drop the watermark.

  1. Create your account

    Sign up here, then open the cake builder at app.frostly.net.

  2. Create the encryption key

    After you are signed in, create the key your server uses to encrypt cake previews.

  3. Preview every cake choice

    Your integration connects supported cake choices to the live preview. Your site keeps its checkout.

The cake builder asks you to sign in. Frostly emails a verification link first, and the encryption key is created only after that address is confirmed.

For your integration team

Embed the hosted cake with one iframe

The iframe opens only with an encrypted cake token. The license key stays on your server. Your server encrypts cake JSON at request time (hostOrigin + iat) and sets the iframe src. Cake previews and downloads include the Frostly watermark on free accounts.

  • view=cake hides Frostly’s control panel (cake only).
  • ?eid= is public. The license key stays on your server. Encrypt cake JSON there and put only #c= in the iframe URL.
  • Production hosts must match the allowed origin from signup.
  • After load, send setProps over postMessage with source: "frostly-2d".

Use postMessage after the iframe fires ready, and set targetOrigin to the Frostly host.

What is available in Frostly today?

Sign up to use the hosted cake builder. After you are signed in, you can create the encryption key your storefront uses to show cake previews. Your website keeps its existing cart and checkout.

What is included in the complete bakery platform vision?

Bakery ecommerce storefronts, back office workflows, order management, delivery and pickup capacity planning, and tablet order updates are in development. They are not included in the current visualizer plans.

Can Frostly help customers order custom cakes in my storefront?

Yes. Create your bakery’s cake designs, then let customers customize icing, piping, colors and lettering on your website. Your storefront integration carries those selections into the cake order and handles checkout and payment.

I am searching for local bakeries. Can I order a cake here?

No. Frostly is software for bakeries. To order a cake, use the bakery’s own website or counter. Bakery Search DC links to bakery websites across the DC metro area.
